Submission Guidelines

Din, NMSU's new online literary magazine, seeks to provide opportunities and space for groundbreaking, inspirational, unique, and revolutionary artists to showcase their talents. We are especially interested in work from undergraduates at NMSU branches and affiliates; however, submissions are open to anyone.

We will accept multiple submissions from authors, but only one submission per author per mode. Modes desired include visual art, poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and multimedia (e.g., podcast, music, video). All pieces should be original work and must be previously unpublished. Maximum lengths for written works are as follows:

Poetry: 5 pages/5 poems, whichever comes first
Prose: 4,000-5,000 words
Multimedia: 10 minutes or less (please provide links to larger files)

All submissions are read blind by editorial staff. Response time is within 30 days of the final submission deadline.

The editors reserve the right to pair up pieces from separate authors and request changes from the author to fit with editorial needs.

Submissions reopen in Spring 2011. All submissions should be sent to
